The more experienced you become and the longer you are in practice, you will begin to feel the urge to be more and to do more with the knowledge, expertise and experience you have as a solo professional.? It?s vital to your personal growth as well as your professional growth not to ignore it.? It?s the next step in your practice.
You will reach a point in your practice/business when you know you are ready to step into a bigger role.? You know you have a larger message besides the work you do in direct service to your clients and you want to reach a wider audience, make a greater contribution and have a bigger impact.
This might mean taking on a?role of leadership, the role of ?mentor or a trainer of others in your profession.? It may mean writing a book, becoming a speaker or a media figure.? They took the steps necessary for this to happen and prepared themselves for that next level ? and when the opportunities arose, they pursued them.
Now many of you may not want celebrity ? that?s OK but you know that you want more ? want to give back.? You may be ready to assume a leadership role in your profession and decide you are going to be a trainer or mentor to less experienced solo professionals in your field.? There is a leadership vacuum in most professions and you can be the person to help fill that vacuum.?
