Austin Peay State University Community School for the Arts begins ...

Austin Peay State University Community School for the ArtsClarksville, TN ? The Austin Peay State University Community School for the Arts is gearing up for another busy semester of classes this spring, and area adults and children interested in pursuing their creative interests are encouraged to register beginning December 3rd.

For more than two decades, the CSA has provided music, art, drama, creative writing and dance lessons for members of the Clarksville community. This spring, the CSA will offer classes from January 7th through May 3rd.

Those classes and programs include:

Music

  • Individual Music Instruction
  • Chorus for Children, Teens and Adults
  • Youth String Orchestra
  • Wind and Percussion Ensembles
  • Orff Ensemble for Children

Visual Arts

  • Art for Children
  • Art for Teens
  • Ceramics
  • Watercolors

Writing

  • Creative Writing
  • Comic Writing

Dance

  • Dance for Children
  • Parent and Me Dance
  • Zumba

Theater

  • Theater for Children
  • Theater for Teens

Arts and Crafts

  • Flower Arranging
  • Scrapbooking
  • Jewelry Making

Photography

All classes are either eight or 16 weeks. Individual music instruction and music ensemble are 16 weeks. Fees vary for the different classes. A complete list of the programs and costs is available online at www.apsu.edu/csa.
