About Me:
Cynthia Cox has been in the field of education for 24 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, and a Master of Education degree from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. In addition, Cynthia has 45 post graduate hours from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, for licensure as an Educational Diagnostician. She holds certification as a Parent-Coach from the John Rosemond Leadership Parenting Institute. Cynthia was on staff at Taylor Memorial Baptist Church as the Director of Preschool Ministry from 1987-1997. She has worked in the Hobbs Municipal School District as a School Counselor, Educational Diagnostician and presently is the Elementary Special Education Coordinator, serving students with special needs from the age of two through the sixth grade.
