Other r?sum? mistakes to avoid:
- Irrelevant experience. You should leave previous jobs off your r?sum? if they don?t relate to the position you are seeking.
- References. References are im??portant, but there?s no reason to put them on your r?sum?. Employers know that you will supply references if they ask for them.
- Reasons for leaving. Don?t ex??plain why you left a previous position. ?It?s much better to discuss this in person when you?ll have the opportunity to explain further, if necessary,? Olson writes.
