Liverpool Vision, Liverpool City?s economic development company, is seeking to procure an Event Partner through a concessionary contract to deliver an International Business Festival hosted in Liverpool in June / July 2014. Whilst, by the nature of a concessionary contract, there is a level of risk involved, it is anticipated that there will also be the opportunity to achieve an attractive return.
This International event will support the Government?s aim to double annual UK exports by 2020 and take advantage of Liverpool City Region?s historical position as a global focal point for international trade and investment and its transformation over the last decade into one of the UK?s most dynamic economic locations.
The Event Partner will take the lead in designing, developing, commercialising and marketing this Festival. The Event Partner will ensure that the Festival is a ?must visit? event for local, national and international delegates, attracting a diverse and interesting set of exhibitors and leading edge in terms of content and delivery. Liverpool Vision is seeking an Event Partner which has a proven track record in designing, developing and delivering major international business and enterprise events of significant scale and ambition.
The Festival is not just focused on showcasing the City Region and its incredible business offer.? It aims to demonstrate that the whole of the UK has much to offer particularly in international markets and deliver the core message that ?Britain is Open for Business?.? Therefore, the event, although hosted in Liverpool and its City Region, will also take advantage of assets and projects further afield.? This is a prestigious international event hosted for the UK in Liverpool, and has the full backing of Government.
